The Revenue Recovery Technology Specialist will assist with the producing, validation and updates to all Ensemble Revenue Recovery technology. The associate will provide up-to-date, thorough, and relevant education to all Revenue Recovery client teams with relation to updates made within Ensemble IQ (EIQ). This will include Educational Spotlights (with both PowerPoint and Word documents available after, as well as a recorded version of the training) on up-to-date opportunities for the identification of and collection of underpaid claims. Responsibilities also include serving as a technology subject matter expert within the Revenue Recovery Service line, validity of all reporting data, reaching out to leadership for answers when needed, and ensuring that the information is disseminated to the entirety of the team.

Maintain the Microsoft Teams site environment which houses all technology documents. This includes but is not limited to building out of all new client rules, updates to existing rules, and tracking of hit rate opportunities.

Research, build, upload and test prediction rules within EIQ for all new and existing clients, while also assisting in the identification of new underpayment opportunities. Ensure that all teams are aware of the updates made and are educated on how and when to use them. Regularly review the prediction rules to determine if new and/or updated rules are needed and build them into all client packages accordingly.

  • Must have excellent written and spoken communication abilities. Must demonstrate active, engaging, training tactics that engage audiences, especially virtually. Serve as subject matter expert on the ROAR service lines, what they do, and how they support each other. Engage with all the client teams as a non-competitive, useful resource.

  • Analyzes variances and trends to identify problems and/ or trends with an understanding of all Revenue Cycle aspects including but not limited to Billing, Coding, Revenue Integrity, Denials, etc
  • Evaluation of current processes and tools and propose changes in order to drive efficiencies within the organization
  • Ensure effective monitoring and reporting controls are in place to improve performance
  • Coordinate operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on-time, within scope and all barriers are communicated to the appropriate parties

Ensemble Required License / Certification (Ex: CRCR) ONE CERTIFICATION PER FIELD

  • CRCR Or other approved job relevant certification

People Leadership Experience

  • 5 to 7 Years

Preferred Area of Study

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience

Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with MS Access and Excel
  • Proficiency with Business Objects
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences 
  • This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
