Role Overview:
The Risk Associate role is responsible for overseeing the trade lifecycle and safeguarding the firm from various operational risks by identifying opportunities to increase robustness and driving meaningful change to our processes. In this unique position you will have the opportunity to expand the breadth of your expertise while working with Sales, Trading, Technology, Compliance, and Operations teams across a variety of asset classes.

In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $300,000.
In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program, as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, retirement and tax-free savings plans, and access to other healthcare programs.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage operational risk across our industry-leading market-making franchise
- Coordinate with Business, Operations, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and seamless post-execution flow
- Partner with Trading, Technology, Compliance, and Operations to drive strategic improvements to our trading platform
- Improve end-to-end performance and efficiency across all post-trade workflows; focus on automation, systematization, and data-driven improvement
- Analyze industry developments and relevant operational process changes through the trade lifecycle, including but not limited to trade reporting, clearing, and settlement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, Economics, or Business
- 2-7 years of professional experience
- Knowledge and proficiency in Python, SQL, R or other data analysis tools
- Operational leadership and strong interest in trading and technology
- Effective problem-solving skills and strategic decision-making
- Detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of trade lifecycle and post-execution workflows
- Prior experience in Electronic Trading / Trading Operations strongly preferred
