You ensure quality in the factory and are responsible for meeting quality targets. You are fully responsible for the people, machinery and the identification and elimination of quality losses and problems in the department. You grow your team's capabilities and coordinates departmental activities in accordance with corporate standards, local requirements and ISO standards. In this role, you report directly to the plant manager with dotted line responsibility to corporate quality.

You will ensure that all quality objectives, goals and targets in the factory (including regional and global commitments) are met. You will develop and track your department's budget and eliminate losses. With your team, you will conduct regular plan-do-act-check assessments to plan how targets will be met, executing the plan and periodically checking and taking action to stay on track. In addition, you will ensure that there is strict adherence with all appropriate laws, food safety quality standards and consumer requirements of all manufactured products and manage crisis situations internally and externally in ways that support the company's image, policies and business. As a people leader, you are responsible for recruitment and structuring of the department to ensure there are sufficient resources to deliver on plant objectives, set and assess performance goals, and coach and mentor team members.

The expected base salary range for this position is CAD 112,900.00 - CAD 141,150.00 depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.

Role Overview
The Site Champion is responsible for driving the people side of change for S4 initiatives at the site level, in close partnership with MTI technical implementation teams. This internal role focuses on enabling successful adoption, sustained usage, and business implementation of S4 by supporting organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Change Planning & Impact Assessment
- Partner with Plant leadership teams (PLT)and key users to assess organizational and process impacts of new S4 processes at the site and get Plant sign off. Communicate deviations to the MTI Plants Focal Point to ensure alignment with regional technical teams.
- Assess change impacts due to system changes, including hierarchies, in partnership with PLT and get Plant sign-off
- Identify local risks, constraints, and resistance; escalate issues and propose practical mitigation actions.
- Full process mapping of the current process that includes SAP, either SAP is used or excel , and analysis risk , opportunities, and actions to adopt the new S4 including all new process
Change Execution & Engagement
- Act as the local change champion by promoting understanding, engagement, and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
- Partner closely with key users, process owners, PLT including People Leads, and S4 delivery teams to ensure proposed designs are aligned with site requirements, support informed sign-off, and promote site ownership.
- Develop and execute integrated site-level change and readiness plans aligned with the overall S4 deployment roadmap.
- Lead site-level communications and engagement activities to ensure clarity, awareness, and adoption.
- Full project management for the implementation on site not limited to MTI but all streams that has connection with S4/O9 project , including pilots , Data and O9
- The single point of contact of all streams including full BCP readiness with the supply chain lead on site
Training & Readiness
- Partner with Education and Training Leads (E&T) to support end-user training logistics, SOP and training matrix creation, train-the-trainer sessions, and co-facilitation of end-user training as needed.
- Ensure data governance and migration cleansing activities by site stewards are completed according to project timelines and milestones.
- Remove barriers of knowledge or understanding in the data governance domain for local teams, while partnering with regional and local resources to maintain data quality, business relevance, and accuracy.
- Conduct readiness assessments and confirm site preparedness for go-live. Measuring and reporting on site readiness, adoption, and change effectiveness using critical KPIs such as Project Scheduling Variance, User Acceptance Test Variance, Training Completion Rate, and User Adoption Score.
Go-Live & Hypercare
- Serve as the first point of contact during go-live and hypercare, supporting issue resolution and escalation. Monitor Hypercare Ticket Volume KPIs
- Reinforce standard processes and support stabilization and sustained adoption post go-live.
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Identify adoption gaps and drive corrective actions to improve site performance.
- Contribute to building internal change management capability, standards, and best practices for S4 initiatives.
