Job Description

Seeking a talented Sales, Client Service & Operations Analyst/Associate who will play a critical role in both driving growth and delivering a seamless experience for clients utilizing SpiderRock Advisors (SRA) option overlay strategies. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, Marketing teams, and partner custodians to ensure transparency, accelerate time to market, and deliver a high-quality client experience. The role combines consultative sales, relationship management, and operational execution with a focus on scaling adoption of SRA solutions while maintaining strong risk and process oversight. Role focus will be determined by the candidate’s background and strengths, with opportunities in either sales, onboarding/implementation or operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Client Engagement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SRA’s option overlay strategies, risk management, and portfolio enhancement solutions
  • Drive adoption of SpiderRock strategies across financial advisors and their clients
  • Create and deliver proposals and tailored solutions for prospective and existing clients
  • Provide ongoing advisor support, technical guidance, and portfolio reviews
  • Deliver presentations, webinars, and training sessions
  • Develop engagement campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and manage pipeline
  • Partner with marketing and investment teams to ensure consistent messaging
Client Onboarding & Implementation
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding including account opening, documentation collection, and execution
  • Oversee documentation lifecycle across internal systems and Salesforce
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and custodians to ensure efficient account setup
  • Establish timelines, manage expectations, and ensure onboarding milestones
  • Manage escalations, implementation issues, and error resolution
  • Own onboarding experience and client satisfaction
Operational Execution & Process Improvement
  • Perform research to support product setup and documentation requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve and scale processes
  • Maintain disciplined communication and status updates
  • Ability to provide support to the Trade Operations Team with regards to reconciliation and trade support
Risk Management & Accountability
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve risk and process issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across documentation and deliverables
Key Qualifications
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in Wealth or Asset Management
  • BA/BS degree required
  • SIE, Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses, or ability to obtain within 3–6 months

Technical & Industry Skills
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Cloud
  • Knowledge of structured products, structured notes, or OTC derivatives is a plus
  • Understanding of options strategies and overlay solutions preferred
For Chicago, IL Only the salary range for this position is USD$90,000.00 - USD$127,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
