  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting against team KPIs.

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Drive new business through high-volume outbound prospecting activities.
  • Research prospective customers, industries, and market trends to create highly personalised and relevant communications.
  • Engage with prospects through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Ensure outbound activity consistently meets or exceeds weekly and monthly targets.

  • Monitor the number and quality of qualified opportunities and scheduled meetings.
  • Support effective conversion of scheduled meetings into qualified sales opportunities.

CRM & Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate prospect, opportunity, and activity records in the CRM.
  • Ensure prospect and opportunity data remains current, complete, and accessible to the Sales team.
  • Support accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting through effective CRM administration.

Relationship Building & Collaboration

  • Build strong, professional relationships with prospective customers.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth hand-off of qualified opportunities.
  • Support the quality and readiness of opportunities passed to Sales.
  • Maintain positive and professional engagement with prospects throughout the outreach process.

Market Feedback & Marketing Optimisation

  • Provide relevant market and prospect feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to review and optimise messaging and positioning.
  • Organise and share actionable insights to help improve the sales process.
  • Contribute to updates of the sales messaging framework to improve relevance and engagement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Experience using a CRM system is preferred.
Bonus points:
  • Relevant sales or CRM certifications, such as HubSpot certifications.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
