 Who we are

Lodgify is a fast-growing scale-up company leading the vacation rental industry. Backed by $30M in funding, our platform empowers property owners and managers worldwide to efficiently manage and grow their business through technology.

Headquartered in sunny Barcelona, we're now a team of 380+ people representing over 60 nationalities, united by a passion for transforming the future of short-term rentals.

⭐ Role Overview

Lodgify is growing fast, and we want you to be the voice that gets there first. As our next Sales Development Representative, you'll spend most of your time on outbound calls, but with an edge: every month, we hand you a fresh batch of qualified leads, vacation rental owners, and property managers, plus everything you need to know about their business. No cold prospecting, no hunting for contacts, just real conversations, understanding how to drive value to our customers. You'll also handle your share of inbound live chat, turning that interest into high-value sales demonstrations for our Sales Specialists to close the deals.

And this is just the start: SDRs at Lodgify typically grow into Sales Specialists within 1 to 1.5 years, sometimes sooner 😉 based on merit and performance. In the last 9 months alone, 8 SDRs were promoted, and our SDR team is currently averaging 107% of target.

⭐ How will you make an impact?

  • Make outbound calls to our qualified leads — vacation rental owners and property managers — equipped with the business context you need to understand what matters to them and offer real value from the first conversation.

  • Engage with prospective customers in real time through our website chat platform, answering platform questions, and booking product demonstrations.

  • Conduct brief discovery calls to uncover property managers' operational needs and explain how Lodgify can help grow their rental business.

  • Schedule qualified product demonstrations for Sales Specialists, providing detailed notes to ensure a seamless handover.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date prospect records in our CRM to keep pipeline tracking and team collaboration running smoothly.

  • Handle objections confidently, communicating Lodgify's value proposition and core platform benefits clearly.

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to test and refine outreach messaging, email sequences, and lead targeting.

  • Keep developing your sales skills and product knowledge through ongoing coaching, team retrospectives, and industry research.

⭐ What makes you a great fit?

  • You have at least 1 year of consistent work experience in a professional environment (sales experience is welcome, but eagerness to grow and strong communication skills are what matter most).

  • You possess native-level English fluency, paired with Spanish fluency.

  • You're comfortable picking up the phone and calling people who aren't expecting your call. No prior "prospecting" experience needed, just confidence in outbound calls.

  • You bring energy and initiative; you speak up, share ideas, and bring momentum to a team setting rather than waiting to be asked.

  • You're curious about short-term rental technology, property management, and SaaS business models.

  • You have a strong ownership mindset; staying organized, tracking your daily activity, and following up on your own commitments.

  • You enjoy active listening and ask thoughtful questions to uncover a prospect's real pain points and business needs.

  • You're resilient and goal-oriented, and you keep a growth mindset when navigating objections or shifting priorities.

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment where cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing are valued.

⭐ What does success look like?

  • Consistently work through your monthly allocation of provided leads to deliver target customer conversions.

  • Maintain strong response times and high conversion rates on inbound web chat conversations.

  • Master Lodgify's platform value proposition, objection playbooks, and CRM workflow within your first 60 days.

  • You actively contribute energy and ideas during team check-ins and outreach experiments, helping the wider team improve.

  • Commission is uncapped — recent top performers have earned 150-200% of target in a given month.

Why you’ll love us:
You’ll be part of a growing, dynamic company with a truly international team. At Lodgify, we are full of contagious energy, hard work, and passion for what we do. What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
