Legalist is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is a junior, high-impact role focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate is comfortable with cold outreach and thrives in a quota-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and other channels
- Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain targeted lead lists using available tools and research methods
- Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation quotas
- Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting strategies
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or SDR role
- Demonstrated experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Ability to clearly articulate past performance metrics (e.g., meetings booked, pipeline generated, conversion rates)
- Strong research skills and ability to independently build lead lists
- Ability to independently develop and execute strategies for building lead lists and leveraging available tools and channels to effectively reach and engage key stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and a resilient, self-starter mindset
