Job Summary 

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) identifies and qualifies new leads to generate potential sales opportunities.

The position is based in the United Kingdom and can be undertaken remotely from the UK. Applicants must be a resident in the United Kingdom and must possess a valid Right to Work in the country. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Builds and maintains a healthy top-of-funnel pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities for Sales Directors.
  • Utilizes an Account-Based Experience strategy to tailor interactions and engagements with targeted accounts, enhancing lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Works with the marketing team to amplify the reach and effectiveness of campaigns within their territory and follows up with inbound leads, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
  • Identifies and engages with key stakeholders within targeted accounts, leveraging insights and data to personalize outreach and communications.
  • Conducts initial qualification of leads, assessing their fit and potential value before passing them along to Enterprise Sales Directors for further development.
  • Gathers and reports insights on market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Utilizes outbound sales tactics such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to engage potential clients.
  • Collaborates with marketing to leverage campaigns and events for pipeline acceleration.
  • Conducts market research to understand industry trends, competitor landscapes, and potential customer pain points.
  • Maintains accurate records of sales activities and pipeline development in CRM tools. 

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct research and identify potential leads.
  • Capability to handle initial sales inquiries and follow up on leads.
  • Adaptability to learn new sales techniques and tools.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with marketing tactics and lead generation.
