Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for generating qualified pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers.
You will be on the front lines of MontyCloud’s growth—introducing our platform to prospective clients, uncovering pain points around cloud cost and governance, and setting high-quality meetings for our Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute multi-channel outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Qualify inbound leads and route to appropriate sales reps
- Meet or exceed monthly pipeline and meeting targets
- Identify customer needs related to cloud cost optimization and governance
- Conduct account research (cloud usage, tech stack, org structure)
- Maintain accurate CRM records (Hubspot)
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently hits or exceeds monthly quotas
- Strong conversion rates from outreach to qualified opportunities
- Builds repeatable outbound motion
- Develops understanding of cloud economics and FinOps
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles (SaaS preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- High energy, coachable, and resilient
- Interest in cloud, AWS, or FinOps is a plus
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Hubspot or Salesloft
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience selling into IT, DevOps, or finance teams
