Job Title: Sales Director, Media & Entertainment
Job Location: Remote (preferred New York or LA)
Job Description: This Sales Director role is for an experienced & daring sales hunter; the main responsibility includes individually sourcing and selling new business for Encora in the Media & Entertainment Vertical
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for driving profitable top line growth (booking and revenue) for the Media & Entertainment (Digital Media, TV, Broadcasting, Film, Music, Gaming, and Advertisement) Vertical.
- Direct, hands-on, sales responsibility to drive growth in new logos for the portfolio. Assist with executive client interactions as needed.
- Participate in and contribute to pipeline review calls and assist industry leader in budgeting and forecasting.
- Individually develop new business in the Media & Entertainment vertical and be the primary sales lead on identified transactions, while leveraging Encora’s subject matter experts and executives, as needed.
- Originate and qualify leads via multiple means such as networking, social media, events and/or other sources, and develop relationships with senior executives within targeted accounts.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years’ experience in business development roles in enterprise sales of IT and business-related services.
- This is a hybrid role “hunter” and “account manager” more focused on hunting. Qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate and close their own leads with companies in Media & Entertainment.
- A well-documented track record of achieving individual annual sales quotas of $ 10M-$15M/year and recent experience selling consulting services engagements in the $2M – $10M range.
- Ability to travel extensively as required.
