Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Drive sales, business development, and go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of high-impact target accounts.

  • Develop and execute value-based solution selling approaches that emphasize differentiation and ROI.

  • Work with the executive team to develop pricing strategies that ensure competitiveness in a rapidly evolving market.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers across prospective clients.

  • Deeply understand client infrastructure requirements and align solutions to their evolving needs.

  • Position Orbital and our partners as trusted advisors and preferred vendors for colocation services.

Commercial Execution

  • Drive complex contract negotiations and close mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Lead bid strategy development and ensure high-quality, timely responses to RFPs and procurement processes.

Market Development & Collaboration

  • Identify new growth opportunities through market research and strategic analysis.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Represent Orbital at key industry events and act as a thought leader within the sector.

  • Manage and optimize sales and marketing budgets.

Insights & Innovation

  • Monitor industry trends, client feedback, and emerging technologies to shape sales tactics and product direction.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience within the data center, colocation, or infrastructure technology sectors.

  • Strong track record of closing complex, large-scale colocation or infrastructure contracts.

  • Extensive network and credibility within hyperscale and enterprise client segments.

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic mindset with operational excellence.

  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and green energy initiatives in data center operations.
    This is an IC role - with the vision of team management/leadership in the near future but not immediately.
