About this opportunity:
The primary goal of the Sales director is to manage the Services business across a Tier 1 Canadian Operator, from securing new business to executing the signed contracts in line with customer expectation.
The sales director is responsible for developing the strategy, securing and growing the Network Services and Managed Services business within the Account. The role is responsible for ensuring the extension of current contracts as well as promoting new solutions from Ericsson Services portfolio to support the operator in growing their Wireless business. The sales director is the prime interface for the Operator for all contractual and sales topics. Internally, he/she is taking the role of the Account Commercial Responsible (ACR) and leading the Core 3 (ACR, CSR- Customer Solution Responsible, CFR - Customer Fulfillment Responsible) to achieve the account objectives/targets and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales activities to create demand
- Develop account plans and strategies in alignment with customer needs and Ericsson's goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels within the customer organization
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as delivery, finance, legal, marketing, etc. to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Monitor market trends, competitors' activities, and customer feedback
- Ensure compliance with Ericsson's policies and procedures
The skills you bring:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering or a related field required
- 5+ years of proven experience in relationship-driven sales within the ICT sector.
- Strong understanding of Ericsson portfolio (especially Services portfolio)
- Strong knowledge of Ericsson processes and tools
- Strong knowledge of Network rollout Services and Managed Services
- Knowledge of Telecom Canadian market challenges and opportunities
- The role requires a high level of problem-solving and critical thinking, along with the ability to effectively promote teamwork and collaboration.
