Sales Enablement Manager

Reporting to the VP of Business Development - Payer, this person is responsible for working in collaboration with our product, marketing and creative teams to develop content, training, customer presentation materials, and other go-to-market sales enablement tools to support and drive growth across Alma’s partnerships. As this role will work in collaboration with our partners’ sales and employer client management teams, the role requires knowledge of sales and account management processes, ideally in healthcare. 

Collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem are central to Alma’s mission to simplify access to high-quality in-network mental healthcare. In this role, you’ll play an essential role in making therapy more affordable and accessible to individuals seeking care. 

The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with strong project management and client presentation skills. This person is data-driven, collaborative, and has a proven track record in sales support and enablement. This role will be supporting our Payer team.

What you’ll do: 

  • Assist Growth & Business Development with client-specific presentation strategy setting, development, and refinement.
  • Serve as the main Sales Enablement touchpoint for our partners’ sales and account management teams, addressing their needs promptly and accurately. 
  • Prepare custom sales resources, unique programs, and engaging presentations. 
  • Create visually engaging and clear presentations that raise the level of the partner sales team’s knowledge, retention, and learning experiences.
  • Ensure our partners are consistently able to articulate Alma’s value proposition.
  • Develop the sales enablement strategy and program architecture in partnership with leadership. 
  • Design and deploy targeted sales resources for our internal and partner sales and account teams, ensuring a balanced focus across multiple teams. 
  • Work with marketing to inventory, revise, and develop sales enablement collateral (i.e., brochures, PPT templates, sell sheets, FAQs, proposal content, etc.). 
  • Provide product and value story training to partners’ sales and account management teams.
  • Develop communications to ensure partners understand the impact of product enhancements and to reiterate our value proposition. 
  • Build and maintain our sales pipeline and CRM process. 
  • Own internal documentation on sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Partner with cross functional teams (e.g., product marketing, operations, engineering) to develop content that supports our partners’ sales efforts.
  • Define and track program success metrics for Alma leadership that will measure the success of enablement activities.
  • Identify and track proof points for partnership programs.
  • Coordinate with Product to maintain in-depth knowledge of product capabilities and roadmap activities.
  • Manage and optimize key sales assets and knowledge management tools to enhance our sales processes.
  • Revise and iterate our sales messaging to maintain accuracy and consistency. 
  • Maintain open lines of communication with partner sales and account management representatives, reinforcing enablement policies and gathering insights to drive training best practices.
  • Evaluate current processes and programs to identify areas for improvement. 

Who you are:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, sales support, or sales/account management experience, within healthcare or insurance.
  • You have experience developing custom client presentations.
  • You have experience working with a CRM.
  • You have strong project management skills and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams.
  • You have excellent communication skills and have a customer-first attitude.
  • You have strong analytical and team-based problem solving skills. 
  • You are able to multi-task, self-organize, and deliver projects on time.  
  • You are passionate about Alma’s mission of making mental healthcare more accessible.

Salary Band: $110,000 - $140,000
