The Job
As the Sales Enablement Manager for Commercial Enterprise Sales, you’ll support the commercial sales team by developing and maintaining sales enablement materials, optimizing workflows, and helping to drive lead generation efforts. You’ll have the opportunity to improve key tools and processes, while working cross-functionally with marketing, product marketing, revenue operations and other teams.

You will be an integral part of the sales team contributing to process improvements and support tool optimization efforts, in addition to helping increase qualified customer engagement. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Commercial Enterprise Sales.

What You'll Do

  • Sales Enablement & Operations:
  • Support and maintain sales enablement materials and tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product marketing to develop new sales collateral, proposal templates, presentations, lead generation content, playbooks, and customer-facing materials tailored to different market segments
  • Optimize sales workflows and CRM usage, ensuring data integrity and efficiency in sales tracking and reporting
  • Process & Tool Optimization:
  • Support testing, documentation, and team usage of sales tools and automation features to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with RevOps and GTM Analysts to develop an automated workflow to more easily generate quotations for sales proposals 
  • Work closely with Sales management, RevOps and CRM Admin team to provide feedback and assist with CRM maintenance and configuration, tracking and experience to ensure seamless data flow
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Research, identify, and qualify leads using various prospecting methods (cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, inbound marketing).
  • Conduct initial outreach and discovery calls to assess prospect needs and determine fit
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria before passing them to the sales team
  • Execute lead nurturing sequences using templates and update CRM accordingly to improve conversion rates.
  • Manage and optimize lead databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Analysis and Support:
  • Support Commercial Sales Leaders on new business opportunities
  • Assist in the development of customer proposals and quotations
  • Assist and help design new formats to more efficiently obtain customer site data (intake form, drawing sets, monitoring info, etc.)
  • Work with legal to help administer the execution and tracking of service agreements

Experience You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, or sales strategy, preferably in the solar, clean energy, or technology sector
  • Experience supporting training content or onboarding documentation, playbooks, and process improvements
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to track performance metrics and summarize data-driven insights for the team
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Passion for clean energy, sustainability, and driving the energy transition forward!

Experience That's a Plus

  • Comfortable working with sales data, forecasting, and sales performance metrics; bonus if you’re experienced with SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
