About the role

The Sales Representative (Commercial Vehicles) will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing customer accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire sales cycle. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for building relationships, providing tailored solutions, and driving business growth.

What you'll do

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify and prospect new clients in the commercial vehicle market, from local businesses, fleet operators to large enterprises.
    • Present and sell a wide range of battery electric commercial vehicles, including upfit to meet the diverse needs of clients.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Understand customer requirements and offer customized vehicle solutions to meet business needs.
    • Provide product demonstrations, answer customer inquiries, and address any concerns or issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation & Closing:
    • Lead negotiations with clients, securing favorable pricing and terms for both parties.
    • Close sales deals effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Market Knowledge & Product Expertise:
    • Stay informed about the latest trends in the commercial vehicle and upfit industry, including product features, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
    • Continuously develop a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle portfolio and offer expert advice to clients.
  • Sales Reporting & Collaboration:
    • Track sales progress and report on activities, sales forecasts, and client feedback to senior management.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (sales administration, incentive management, finance and after-sales) to ensure smooth transactions and deliveries.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in commercial vehicles, trailer, upfit or the fleet sales sector.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle specifications, features, and benefits.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region as required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Native English speaker, any fluent secondary language is highly regarded.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales.
  • Prior EV experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of vehicle financing and leasing options.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
