We're looking for a motivated Sales Support Coordinator who is eager to launch a career in consultative sales. This role is designed as a structured training opportunity that prepares you to become a commissioned Plan Advisor.

Who You Are

You're energized by helping people, learning new skills, and building relationships. You enjoy talking with customers, are naturally curious, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something different.

You're organized, coachable, and driven to grow. Whether you've worked in inside sales, customer service, retail sales, or another customer-facing role, you're excited by the opportunity to develop into a professional sales consultant.

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys turning conversations into solutions and wants to build a long-term career with a company that invests in your success.

What You'll Do

During your first 3–6 months, you'll participate in a structured training program where you'll learn our products, systems, customers, and consultative sales process while supporting our experienced Plan Advisors.

As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll transition into a commissioned Plan Advisor role where you'll help customers choose and customize the perfect home plan for one of the biggest purchases of their lives.

  • Support the House Plans sales team while learning our consultative sales process.
  • Review inbound sales inquiries and conduct welcome calls with prospective customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Place outbound calls to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) with the goal of converting them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Follow up with builders and customers responding to marketing campaigns.
  • Educate customers on home plans, customization options, and the home planning process.
  • Promote and sell house plans and modification services.
  • Assist customers throughout the buying journey and provide post-sale support.
  • Help prepare and deliver Cost to Build reports.
  • Develop expertise across our family of home plan websites and products.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Order Fulfillment teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing sales coaching, product training, and weekly performance reviews.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, retail sales, or telesales experience.
  • A genuine passion for helping customers and building relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence handling a high volume of customer interactions each day.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Comfort learning new technology and business systems.
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • A positive attitude, coachability, and a desire to continuously improve.
Why You'll Love This Opportunity

This is more than a sales support role—it's an opportunity to build a long-term sales career.

You'll receive hands-on coaching from experienced sales leaders, learn a proven consultative sales methodology, and gain expertise in an industry that's helping people build their dream homes.

Upon successful completion of the training program, you'll transition into a commissioned Plan Advisor role where you'll have the opportunity to grow your earnings while making a meaningful impact on customers throughout their homebuilding journey.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
