The purpose of the Sales Support Specialist (SSS) is to provide order entry and sales support to Cox Field Operations, Sales, and eCommerce departments (where available) and many external sales channels; to provide sales and customer service assistance to external customers who either call in to request new or upgraded services or who are referred by another department or a Cox employee.

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.

What You'll Do
- Provides transactional support for numerous programs, currently including Cox.com, Online vendor partners, Connect2Compete, ConnectAssist, Employee Courtesy Services, fix campaign notifications & fraud order handling
- Utilizes multiple tools & systems to perform order entry, reviews documentation, contacts customers via outbound dialing and emails, provides live chat support to internal employees needing assistance
- Communicates and works with customers to resolve issues that interfere with them connecting new service
- Accountable for achieving & sustaining individual, key performance indicators on an ongoing basis
- Takes inbound calls from customers and employees to support the inbound queue, as necessary
- Assist with order fulfillment by ensuring orders are entered accurately and timely
- Learns and complies with the company's Sales Operations standards and policies
- Assists with special projects as assigned

Who You Are
Minimum
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ year of experience in call center or related field
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a high-change business environment
- Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent data entry and telephone skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong multi-tasking skills using multiple tools
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Preferred
- Bilingual fluency - English/Spanish highly preferred
- Strong expertise in Cox's ICOMS/ICE system
- Strong expertise in DocuSign & Quickbase
