Analyzes and documents Salesforce business and technical requirements for an Arizona state agency. Translates stakeholder needs into functional specifications, supports configuration and testing of Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports, and performs gap analysis and process improvement. Develops process flows, data maps, and documentation; collaborates with developers and business units; provides user training and change-management support.

SunSoftOnline is hiring a Salesforce Business Analyst for an Arizona state agency.
Requirements before applying: Phoenix metro residency with your city on your resume
· U.S. citizen or green card holder, no sponsorship
· W2 only, no C2C
· travel to different locations within Arizona is required.
REQUIRED:
- Salesforce experience, with either Sales Cloud or Service Cloud
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201)
- Azure DevOps or Jira
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst, with at least 2 years on Salesforce
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
- Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe)
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred: managing large case management systems
· data migration, integration tools, or Salesforce APIs
· Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
The work: collaborating with business units to gather, analyze, and document Salesforce requirements. Translating business needs into functional specifications and working with developers. Serving as liaison between IT and business stakeholders. Performing gap analysis and identifying process improvements. Supporting configuration and testing of objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports. Developing process flows, data maps, and documentation. Conducting user training and supporting change management.
The facts: $67/hr W2
· mostly remote, with required travel to locations around Arizona
· Mon-Fri, 8-5
· October 12, 2026, six months
· in-person interview in Phoenix within a week of the close
