About the Role
This role works with our business systems stakeholders to define feature requirements, implement new systems, and customize the platform, enabling our users to get the most out of Salesforce technology. You will provide technical leadership and hands-on implementation, configuration, and development of the various components of Salesforce and other Saas business platforms. Our team is small but growing, and we have the freedom to build the right solutions from the ground up.
Essential Responsibilities
- Customize the RainFocus Salesforce platform through custom code, declarative configuration, and administration
- Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities
- Manage tasks and projects in a fast-paced operations environment, driving issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution and implementation
- Work closely with stakeholders and management to document, implement, and optimize system requirements and assist in the vendor evaluation process
- Automate testing, environment maintenance, and release management
- Optimize systems and processes to achieve repeatable, high-quality deployments
- Serve as subject matter expert in driving the industry best practices for the CRM ecosystem and associated integrated tools, including DevOps and integration
- Work iteratively with a small Agile team
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 years of experience implementing projects in Salesforce.com technology platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Experiences and CPQ
- Salesforce development experience including Apex and Lightning Web Components
- Extensive experience with declarative development, specifically Lightning Experience, Analytics, App Builder, Flows, and Components
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce release management, source and version control, deployment strategies, and testing best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects with direct experience in Scrum
- Proficiency in Salesforce's SOQL, SOSL, and Security Model
- Experience with CPQ & Quote to Cash processes in a SaaS & recurring revenue company
- Strong background in database concepts and data modeling capabilities
- Strong experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Developer 1
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related technical fields
Desired Skills
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
- Any Salesforce Certified Architect credentials
- Experience with DevOps for SAlesforce
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (JS)
- Experience with Certinia PSA
- Experience developing middleware solutions for business intelligence and data analytics
- Experience developing and publishing packages for Salesforce AppExchange
- Experience with integrating systems with Salesforce
