- Summary:
- As a Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that Salesforce initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while aligning with strategic goals and ensuring user adoption.
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for Salesforce implementations and enhancements, from initiation through deployment and transition to support.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocations, risk mitigation strategies, and communication plans.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and QA teams to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) or manage hybrid waterfall-agile project structures as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, and third-party partners involved in Salesforce delivery.
- Track progress using tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project and communicate status to executives and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively escalating where needed.
- Ensure projects meet compliance, data security, and governance requirements, particularly in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance).
- Champion change management and user training strategies to drive adoption of Salesforce solutions.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and lessons-learned activities.
- Knowledge of Salesforce (Sales, Service, Comms Cloud, CPQ/Billing, FSL, Experience, commerce, and MuleSoft etc), proven project leadership in Agile and hybrid environments, and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 10+ years of IT project management experience, with 4+ years leading Salesforce platform projects (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce, Experience, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce implementation methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across IT, business, and vendor partners.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Salesforce Administrator or Consultant certification a plus.
