AssistRx is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead with deep Experience Cloud expertise to architect, design, and lead development of our external-facing portal solutions. This leader will guide technical strategy, mentor developers, and deliver scalable, secure, patient-focused Salesforce Experience Cloud implementations.

This is a full-time, fully remote position within the United States, requiring daily collaboration during Eastern Standard Time hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead development and architecture for Experience Cloud sites, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
  • Oversee portal configuration, external user access models, login flows, and Experience Cloud security settings.
  • Guide the team on Apex, LWC, Flows, and integration best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to mid-level and junior developers.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to translate business needs into technical designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and configuration challenges.
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and review ceremonies.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements.
  • Ensure documentation of technical components, reusable patterns, and Experience Cloud configurations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with strong expertise in Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) solutions.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce Experience Cloud portals.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Preferred: Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud Consultant
  • Additional architect-level certifications are a plus.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

  • Experience Cloud (Critical)
  1. Strong Experience Cloud expertise, including portal configuration, external user access, guest user security, and login flows.
  2. Skilled in building high-performance portal components using LWC, Apex, and declarative tools
    • Salesforce Development
  3. Proficient in Apex, L:WC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and asynchronous processing.
  4. Solid understanding of data modeling, governor limits, and large-volume performance considerations.
    • Integration & DevOps:
  5. Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, middleware, Git, SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Gearset.
    • Security & Governance:
  6. Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model, permission sets, sharing rules, and data governance best practices.

LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATION:

  • Ability to lead and mentor mid-level and junior developers.
  • Strong skills in code review, technical guidance, and architectural oversight.
  • Collaborates effectively with product, QA, BAs, and PMs to align solutions with business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stays current with Salesforce releases and recommends relevant enhancements.
  • Participates in sprint grooming, planning, and review sessions.
  • Diagnoses and resolves production issues, performance bottlenecks, and Experience Cloud configuration challenges.
