KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experienced SAP RTR Tax Consultant – Brazil to join our global finance transformation team. This role focuses on leading SAP localization, tax configuration, and statutory compliance for Brazil, ensuring adherence to complex and evolving regulatory requirements within the SAP ecosystem.


Role Overview

As an SAP RTR Tax Consultant – Brazil, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Record-to-Report (RTR) tax processes for Brazilian operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with Brazil’s intricate tax structure and digital reporting obligations while supporting finance and tax transformation initiatives within SAP.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end RTR tax processes, including tax provisioning, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Configure and maintain SAP Brazil localization for ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ, and CSLL.
  • Implement and support Brazilian e-invoicing and electronic documentation (NF-e, CT-e, NFS-e).
  • Ensure compliance with SPED Fiscal & Contábil, and regulatory reports such as EFD-Contribuições, DCTF, ECD, and ECF.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate tax accounting and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with finance, tax, and IT teams to optimize SAP RTR processes and ensure smooth integration with global systems.
  • Interface with auditors, tax advisors, and authorities to resolve compliance issues.
  • Stay current with changes in Brazilian tax legislation and update SAP configurations accordingly.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP RTR and Brazilian tax environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax laws (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Brazil localization, SPED, and electronic invoicing (NF-e, CT-e, NFS-e).
  • Proficiency in Portuguese (mandatory); English preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or certification (MBA, CRC, CPA, or equivalent local license).
  • Experience with SAP Legal Content for Brazil, TDF, or GRC tools.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations and tax process automation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
