Job Description

1-2 resource with 3-4 years’ experience building from the ground up and supporting SCOM 2007. This should include building and deploying management packs. 

The expectation of all these resources is to have Strong knowledge of 

Windows and Linux operating systems in production environment. 

• Experience working in an Agile environment with Jira. 

• Working knowledge of relational databases particularly Microsoft SQL and/or MySQL Server. 

• Applied client and server-side scripting experience with PowerShell and one or more languages (i.e. Perl, VBScript, XML, Java). 

Work Experience and Education Guidelines: 

• BS in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent education and experience required. 

• Experience working in a complex and large-scale software environment. 

• Experience with engineering/operations of Enterprise monitoring tools. 

• Experience in software and hardware management tools a strong plus. 

Core Competencies: 

• Strong customer service focus, coupled with a proven ability to positively interact with customers of all levels within the organization. 

• Demonstrated problem solving ability. 

• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. 

• Exhibit a strong work ethic and technical leadership skills. 

• Ability to digest, understand and support large enterprise distributed environments.
