What is Amplemarket all about?
Amplemarket's premise is that a lot of the playbooks used by B2B sales teams that worked 5 years ago don't cut it anymore.
In today's environment, sales teams need to have a tremendous amount of information about their prospects to decide when is the best moment and channel to reach out in the most relevant way. You can't do this with 5 different data/sales enablement point solutions that don't share the same data schema and barely communicate with each other. Amplemarket is the all-in-one compound solution that enables this.
Our AI-powered sales platform helps B2B companies generate more opportunities thanks to our advanced lead generation engine, hyper-personalized sequencing, omnichannel outreach, and AI-powered smart actions. We are backed by Y Combinator, and we are powering the sales teams at some of the fastest-growing companies in the world like Deel, Moveworks, H1 and Vanta.

Amplemarket is seeking an experienced and motivated SDR Manager to join our team. As an SDR Manager, your main responsibility will be to lead and oversee a team of Sales Development Representatives in generating qualified meetings for Amplemarket's Account Executives. You will play a crucial role in setting up and scaling our team, working directly with the founders to achieve our revenue goals and drive business growth.

You will:
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to a team of SDRs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop effective outbound strategies and tactics to identify and qualify leads in the B2B SaaS space.
  • Continuously improve lead generation processes and optimize conversion rates.
  • Work closely with SDRs to build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through email outreach, phone calls, social media outreach, and other relevant channels.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance SDRs' skills in lead qualification, objection handling, product knowledge and effective communication.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide regular reports to the management team. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize team productivity and results.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Business Development to align on target customer profiles, messaging, and sales strategies.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with marketing, customer success, and other teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and sales best practices.
  • Continuously assess and optimize SDR processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Identify and implement tools, technologies, and resources to support the team's success.

About you:
  • 3 years of experience in a sales development role, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or management position is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities to help develop the skills of individual team members.
  • Strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with prospects, team members, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
  • A solid understanding and interest in technology.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
