Global-e is looking for a highly motivated BDE Team Lead/Manager to join our US Business Development Team. Global-e (Nasdaq: GLBE) is the world’s leading platform to enable and accelerate global, direct-to-consumer cross-border e-commerce growth.

As we continue to expand the Sales team in New York office, the BDE Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of BDEs/SDRs to drive business growth and expansion. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members to achieve targets and exceed expectations. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies & identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of BDEs/SDRs to achieve sales targets/objectives & provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure the team performs at its best.
- Conduct regular 121’s, evaluate performance, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to maximize productivity and morale.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement innovative and effective sales strategies to reach and engage potential clients and expand the customer base.
- Act as a key liaison between the BDE team and senior leadership, regularly reporting on performance, insights, and innovation initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new relevant value-driven outreach.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the BDE team.
- Conduct regular BDE team meetings and wider-team meetings & training sessions to share best practices, industry insights, and product knowledge.
- Identify individual training needs and support career development plans for team members.
- Work closely with Partnerships and markering to enhance the sales support network & have a successful event approach.
AI & Innovation Focus:
- Support the rollout and adoption of a cutting-edge AI Sales Agent within the BDE team, ensuring effective integration into daily workflows.
- Partner with leadership to implement and refine AI-driven automated messaging strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Guide BDEs in executing highly tailored, multichannel outreach strategies for Enterprise accounts, combining AI insights with personalization.
- 2+ years experience in sales, business development, or related field, with a track record of achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Preferred experience in working for an innovative and agile B2B/B2C tech company, preferably within SaaS, e-commerce, logistics/supply chain, technical/software sales
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients and team members.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Confident presenting insights and updates to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, ideally Hubspot or Salesforce.
Compensation: 125-135k plus equity
