As a Senior Account Executive at iT1, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by proactively managing and expanding your customer portfolio. You will leverage your expertise in consultative selling to identify and address solution gaps, uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and engage customers across various IT service pillars, including procurement, cloud, security, networking, communication and collaboration, and IT lifecycle services.

Requirements
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and great work ethic.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Understanding that customer satisfaction is paramount.
  • Industry Success: Proven track record of success in the Value Added Reseller (VAR) industry.
  • IT Knowledge: Knowledge of various aspects of IT and how they interrelate.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to facilitate and negotiate complex IT solutions.
  • Client Communication: Comfort in speaking with senior-level clients.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivation and excellent time management skills.
  • Salesforce Familiarity: Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience: 4+ years in IT sales or services.

Key Duties

  • Customer Analysis: Proactively analyze existing customer book of business to uncover solution gaps, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and expand engagement across service pillars
  • Portfolio Growth: Cultivate and expand your existing book of business and grow your portfolio by acquiring new customers
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct consultative selling to uncover opportunities spanning cloud, security, networking, communication and collaboration, and IT lifecycle services
  • Opportunity Management: Open and manage opportunities within iT1’s solutions offerings and engage the Pre-Sales team
  • CRM Utilization: Daily utilization of CRM to manage portfolio of business, i.e., updating account information, opportunities, leads/prospects, tasks, customer payment, etc.
  • Marketing Tools: Leverage marketing tools to prospect and develop your portfolio of business
  • Resource Engagement: Engage all necessary internal/external resources to conduct business, including vendor, partner, and distribution representatives 
  • Quoting Process: Manage the end-to-end quoting process and ensure timely submission of deal registrations to maximize vendor incentives and protect pipeline opportunities
  • Training and Webinars: Maintain a minimum of 80% attendance for partner/vendor trainings and webinars

Job Location:

  • In-Office Tues/Thrs if within a reasonable commute to the Tempe HQ
  • Remote if located 40+ miles away from Tempe HQ

Physical Demands

  • Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
  • Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
  • Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
