Findex is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Virtual Operations Accounting and Taxation Pool team (NZ). This will be a permanent, full-time, remote opportunity that is open to anybody across New Zealand. 

Your role, your contribution!

This role is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of clients’ engagement are running smoothly with a strong focus on client delivery.

  • Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses 

  • Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.
  • Ensuring compliance obligations are met with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients within the office locations.
  • The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and offices.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven accounting experience within Public Practice and strong knowledge of New Zealand taxation requirements.
  • CA or CPA qualification is an advantage
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with client and can work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Curious mindset, eager to learn and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.
