How This Role Makes a Difference

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of the accounting team reporting directly to the Sr. Director Accounting. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, coordinating audits, and maintaining strong internal controls to support a fast-paced company.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Oversee the day to day accounting activities and monitor the company's general ledger to ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
  • Lead the ASC 606 revenue determinations and accounting treatments. Collaborate across teams to review revenue recognition policies based on contract reviews.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Director Accounting to lead and complete annual external audits and tax filings.
  • Assist with the development, review, and updating of accounting policies, procedures, checklists, and related documentation.
  • Review, approve, and prepare account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy of postings.
  • Actively support departmental process improvement and automation initiatives by identifying workflow gaps and contributing to efficiency-driven solutions 
  • Review and process all intercompany and subsidiary transactions.
  • Coordinate with management and employees to ensure compliance of accounting policies.
  • Support stock compensation reporting requirements.
  • Identify and lead process improvement opportunities  to increase effectiveness, and timeliness of financial reports.
  • Mentor and support staff regarding the handling of non-routine transactions.
  • Support cross-team special projects.
The Expertise Required
  • Experience with NetSuite is required.
  • Strong proficiency in excel is preferred.
  • Some previous managerial or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset 
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience
  •  8+ years of accounting experience or CPA with 4+ years of accounting in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
How We Work Together
  • Location: Remote within the United States. This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment.
  • Travel: This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
  • Physical demands associated with this position Include: The ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.

The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 USD per year for full time team members.
