Schedule: Full-Time | Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hiring Range: $73,391.72 - $81,255.12 per year

What You’ll Do:

As our Senior Accountant, you'll serve as a key financial resource supporting multiple Tribal healthcare entities. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, transparency, and sound decision-making. 

  • Serving as the on-site accounting professional for designated Tribal healthcare entities
  • Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics
  • Supporting grant and contract compliance, reporting, and fund accounting activities
  • Collaborating across departments to develop meaningful financial reports and analyses
  • Assisting with annual budgets, audits, and internal controls
  • Providing backup support for payroll processing and cash management functions
  • Performing account reconciliations, financial reviews, and general accounting activities
  • Helping strengthen financial processes that support the organization's long-term success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of senior-level accounting experience
  • Demonstrated fund accounting experience
  • Experience processing payroll for organizations with 100+ employees using electronic payroll systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current liability insurance
