About the Role:

Our IT organization is seeking a Senior AI Enablement Analyst to accelerate safe, practical AI adoption across the business. In this role you'll work directly with teams across the company to identify high-value opportunities, map workflows, design solution approaches, and drive adoption through enablement, change management, and measurement. You'll act as the  "front door" for corporate AI at Dragos, translating business needs into prioritized use cases, designing solutions, and collaborating with IT engineering counterparts for implementation and operation. This is not a traditional engineering role. It is a consultative position that blends AI expertise with business acumen, cross-functional partnership, and a passion for helping people work smarter. The ideal candidate brings enough technical depth to understand what AI can and can't do today, and enough strategic maturity to earn trust, drive change, and deliver measurable results across multiple business functions without direct authority.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize high‑value AI opportunities by analyzing workflows, defining measurable outcomes, and maintaining a ranked backlog of use cases.
  • Lead discovery sessions with business teams to uncover both quick‑win automations and larger strategic AI initiatives.
  • Design and prototype AI solutions—including copilots, workflow automations, and retrieval/search experiences—to validate value before engineering investment.
  • Define requirements and success metrics, then hand off validated designs to IT engineering for implementation and ongoing operations.
  • Drive companywide AI enablement and adoption through playbooks, training, office hours, and serving as the primary resource for day‑to‑day AI support.
  • Ensure governance alignment by guiding teams through responsible‑use expectations, data‑handling requirements, and AI approval processes.
  • Measure and communicate business impact through adoption metrics, feedback, and reporting that inform continuous reprioritization of AI initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, business systems analysis, solutions consulting, AI enablement, or similar roles combining technical depth with business partnership.
  • 3+ years of experience acting as a consultative partner to business teams--translating ambiguous needs into structured requirements and solution approaches.
  • Familiarity with practical enterprise AI patterns such as copilots, agent-style workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and embeddings--with an honest understanding of their real-world constraints.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain AI capabilities and limitations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a change management context: training, internal marketing, stakeholder alignment, and continuous iteration.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams across different business functions without direct authority.
  • Experience defining and tracking program success metrics to demonstrate business impact.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $160,000
  • Competitive Equity Package
  • Comprehensive Benefits Plan

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
