What you can expect

We're seeking an experienced AI Engineer specialized in agent orchestrator design and implementation, agent workflow, and LLM evaluation metrics and pipeline design. You'll be instrumental in developing and deploying intelligent agent systems that can understand context, orchestrate multi-step processes, automate complex workflows, and execute tasks autonomously across Zoom. Your expertise will help us create agents that streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and optimize end-to-end business processes through intelligent automation.

About the Team

The Agentic Workflow Automation team is committed to revolutionizing productivity by streamlining complex workflows, automating routine tasks, and making decisions with great speed and clarity. We are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive significant advancements in how people communicate and collaborate.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing agent architectures that can reason about tasks, plan actions, and execute solutions

  • Developing prompt engineering frameworks and techniques for reliable agent behavior

  • Implementing safety mechanisms and oversight protocols for autonomous systems

  • Building and maintaining LLM-powered services using models like GPT-4, Claude, and internal models

  • Optimizing model infrastructure for low latency and high throughput

  • Building robust testing frameworks for agent behavior validation

What we’re looking for

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cognitive Science, or a related field.

  • Have 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering

  • Exhibit expertise in microservice design and implementation

  • Have experience with production agent systems

  • Demonstrate programming skills in Python or Java, with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Transformers, LangChain)

  • Have experience with cloud infrastructure stack (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS)

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$151,800.00

Maximum:

$332,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
