Senior AI Engineer

As a Senior AI Engineer at Nectar Social, you'll architect and implement our multi-agent system that orchestrates state-of-the-art LLMs to power intelligent commerce experiences. You'll work on complex challenges from agent orchestration to evaluation frameworks, ensuring our AI systems deliver reliable, cost-effective performance at scale.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• Building robust multi-agent systems that coordinate complex tasks using third-party LLMs

• Developing evaluation frameworks to measure and optimize agent performance across diverse scenarios

• Creating efficient prompt engineering and optimization strategies to maximize model effectiveness

• Implementing production-grade inference pipelines with focus on reliability and cost optimization

• Designing guardrails and fallback systems to ensure consistent agent behavior

• Working closely with product and infrastructure teams to ship AI features that delight customers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production engineering experience, with significant focus on AI/ML systems

• Technical depth: Strong experience building systems with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)

• Engineering excellence: Track record of shipping reliable AI systems in production

• System design: Experience optimizing large-scale AI applications for performance and cost

• Problem solving: Proven ability to tackle novel technical challenges in AI
