The purpose of the Senior Analyst Shopper Insight Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary is to champion the shopper insight capabilities and drive shopper centric plans and executions within the organization by initiating new research, leveraging and enabling the usage of existing ones as well as developing insights and recommendations to grow the business. The role will also act as a key internal contact in managing Nielsen cooperation and data analysis for the respective markets.

The purpose of the Senior Analyst Shopper Insight Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary is to champion the shopper insight capabilities and drive shopper centric plans and executions within the organization by initiating new research, leveraging and enabling the usage of existing ones as well as developing insights and recommendations to grow the business. The role will also act as a key internal contact in managing Nielsen cooperation and data analysis for the respective markets.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Champion shopper agenda within the organization, identifying and cooperating on the developing growth opportunities for the business.
- Act as a day-to-day partner for Category planning and Marketing when it comes to the shopper & retail understanding and integrating it into internal plans and analysis.
- Manage primary and secondary research projects and analysis- identify knowledge gaps and business needs in respective countries and build research recommendations/research plan with priorities to address them.
- Build effective working relationships with Nielsen and central analytical team to ensure service quality, and leverage Nielsen data to run market analysis
What you will bring
- Passion for shopper and consumer behavior understanding.
- Ability to turn data points into compelling stories and translate them into business growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of research tools & techniques, both qualitative and quantitative
- "Joining the dots" - ability to leverage data points and multiple data sources to build simple and compelling business stories and translate them into growth opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis (focus on Nielsen data)
- Min 3-5 years of consumer / shopper research experience with min. 2 years of experience at an international FMCG manufacturer, research agency or an international retailer
- Fluency in English
