We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to securing Integral Ad Science (IAS) applications and products. As a vital member of the Application Security team, you will collaborate with various Product and R&D teams to ensure the IAS Platform and our architectural framework remain secure and compliant. We are a dedicated and growing group, committed to securing IAS through industry best practices and our collective experience. What you’ll get to do: 

● Define, plan, and implement IAS’ security framework and application protections. 

● Develop security standards and best practices for the R&D organization, and recommend security enhancements to management as needed. 

● Develop strategies to respond to and recover from security vulnerabilities and incidents. 

● Build automations to streamline repetitive tasks and processes. 

● Educate the workforce on the fundamentals of application security through training and security awareness programs. 

● Pursue security training and certifications. 

● Evaluate and recommend additional tools to enhance our application security posture. 

● Work collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure a secure DevOps release cycle. 

 

You should apply if you have most of this: 

● 5+ years of application security experience with a strong development or coding background. 

● Direct experience with code analysis products (SAST, DAST, IAST, etc.). 

● Proven experience working with development, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure secure best practices are followed. 

● Direct experience using tools to exploit vulnerabilities. 

● Working knowledge of AI tools and automation frameworks. 

● Experience in building automated workflows and scripting. 

● Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures with comprehensive documentation. 

● Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and utilize critical thinking skills, with a strong aptitude for learning new concepts and problem-solving as challenges arise. 


New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $100,800 - $172,800. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
