By identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks, you contribute to three crucial areas: strengthening the company's defenses, informing sound business decisions, and advancing risk capabilities across the organization. Your expertise empowers informed risk-taking, fostering sustainable growth and protecting the financial security of millions of policy owners.
Role Overview:
The Sr. Associate, Risk Systems, Reporting & Analytics is a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management team, responsible for supporting execution of the AI governance program through metrics, reporting, and analytical insights. This role develops and delivers reporting capabilities, and maintains the systems used to measure the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with governance requirements across the lifecycle.

This role partners with governance teams and business stakeholders to ensure governance activities are consistently measured, documented, and reported.
What You'll Do:
  • Own and maintain analytics and reporting capabilities, including oversight of data quality and the platforms and data sources that enable governance reporting.
  • Develop and deliver accurate, reliable, and timely reporting across the governance lifecycle and AI Risk Review operations, including KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, executive summaries, adherence, and service-level performance.
  • Provide performance reporting on governance roadmap execution, including progress, dependencies, and delivery risks.
  • Prepare materials for senior leadership and governance committees, translating metrics into clear narratives, visual dashboards, and risk insights.
  • Support regulatory readiness and audit response by coordinating inputs across governance teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, complete, and consistent reporting, documentation, and workflow tracking.
  • Identify trends, emerging risks, and control gaps surfaced through metrics and monitoring, escalating insights to leadership as appropriate.
  • Continuously improve reporting and analytics processes through automation, standardization, and improved data quality.

What You'll Bring:
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in reporting and analytics within risk management, governance, or compliance-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated experience defining, designing, and developing metrics, KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
  • Hands-on experience creating and implementing reporting and analytics using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple high-visibility deliverables with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot for analysis and reporting.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with AI governance, model risk management, data science, or emerging technology risk.
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk, AI risk, or compliance management frameworks.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
