The Opportunity

PAE is seeking a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer in our Seattle office to lead multidisciplinary project teams and drive high quality engineering solutions from concept through delivery. In this senior role you will provide both technical and project leadership serving as Lead Engineer and when approved Engineer of Record while overseeing project planning budgeting forecasting and progress tracking to ensure successful and profitable outcomes. You will play a key role in strengthening PAEs technical operations contributing to company standards improving internal processes and actively engaging in business development efforts including interviewing for new projects and building lasting client relationships. The position requires the ability to communicate complex design options to a wide range of stakeholders and to represent PAE confidently with client's staff and industry audiences. As a senior leader you will mentor and develop staff promote a culture of excellence and enforce the company’s Quality Management Plan to ensure the highest level of project performance. The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership advanced technical expertise and a proven record of managing large engineering projects successfully and profitably.

What You'll Do

  • Project team leadership and budget management as Project Manager with approval. Utilize tools and resources for project planning, forecasting, progress tracking
  • Technical leadership of PAE’s design scope as Lead Engineer and/or Engineer of Record (EOR) with approval
  • Improve the technical operations of the company
  • Active engagement in PAE’s success
  • Interview for projects
  • Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group   
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Present to clients, staff and at industry events 
  • Provide mentorship, training and development for staff
  • Significant involvement in company standards and improve company processes
  • Enforce the project quality management plan (QMP)
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering for discipline work 
  • 10+ years of industry experience 
  • Relevant professional credential within discipline (PE, CPD, RCDD, etc.)
  • Must have significant experience in a management or leadership role
  • Inspire and motivate staff
  • Effective leadership and people skills
  • Lead and manage projects successfully and profitably
  • Demonstrate commitment to PAE
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for the company
  • Project leadership skills including billing, reporting, resource allocation and scheduling
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Revit/AutoCAD

What We Offer 

  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $124,300-$175,500 annually 

The salary range is one component of PAE’s total compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic work location in determining final salary. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases year-end performance bonus, dividend and ownership bonuses. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
