A Day in the Life:
- Lead business analysis activities for large-scale strategic initiatives, ensuring program-level objectives are clearly defined and translated into actionable solution requirements.
- Translate high-level program goals into detailed, solution-level requirements that enable engineering and product teams to design and implement effective technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain program playbooks, documentation, and requirement artifacts to support alignment across business, product, and technology teams.
- Create technical workflow diagrams, process flows, and system interaction visuals that illustrate integrations, dependencies, and data movement across applications.
- Perform data mapping and capability analysis to understand how new features and enhancements impact existing systems and downstream processes.
- Analyze complex initiative structures that may include multiple themes, epics, and feature sets spanning numerous capabilities and interconnected applications.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and technical teams to clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence to manage documentation, maintain traceability, and support transparency across delivery teams.
- Evaluate cross-system impacts and dependencies within large application ecosystems to support informed technical and product decisions.
- Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and ownership in driving clarity across ambiguous or evolving program requirements.
What it takes:
- Availability to work Central Standard Time (CST) hours to support collaboration with distributed teams.
- Experience supporting large-scale strategic technology initiatives involving multiple themes, epics, and feature sets across complex application environments.
- Ability to understand program-level requirements and translate them into detailed solution-level documentation that supports delivery teams.
- Proficient to expert knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience using tools such as Postman to review, test, and understand service interactions.
- Advanced experience using JIRA and Confluence for requirement management, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect business needs to technical impacts across multiple systems and integrations.
- Experience creating workflow diagrams, system interaction diagrams, and other visual artifacts to support technical and business understanding.
- Highly organized with the ability to create and maintain structured documentation, program playbooks, and requirement repositories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to write moderately complex SQL queries to support analysis and data validation is a plus.
