This role builds the analytics foundation that empowers brands to measure journeys end-to-end, understand cross-channel behavior, and drive continuous optimization.
You will work across data, strategy, and engineering teams—owning the data views, connections, identity alignment, and calculated metrics that bring customer behavior to life.

  • Build and validate connections, data views, field mappings, joins, and identity stitching to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Design reporting structures that unify journey behavior across AEP, RTCDP, web, app, offline, and third-party systems.
Data Modeling & Preparation
  • Map schemas, datasets, and identity namespaces to create clean and reliable inputs for cross-channel reporting.
  • Leverage AEP Query Service and Data Distiller to shape datasets, normalize events, optimize joins, and prepare analytics-ready tables.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure datasets follow CJA best practices for cardinality, granularity, and stitching.
Analytics, Visualization & Reporting
  • Create calculated metrics, filters, visualizations, and dashboards that translate customer behavior into business insights.
  • Define KPIs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks that tie platform usage to business outcomes.
  • Guide marketing and product teams in operationalizing insights for journey optimization, personalization, and activation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with AEP, RTCDP, and AJO teams to ensure analytics alignment with upstream event design and downstream activation.
  • Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to refine requirements and translate business needs into analytics deliverables.
  • Support governance, QA, data validation, and ongoing analytics operations.
Required Skills & Experience
Platform Expertise
  • Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), and familiarity with AJO journey datasets is preferred.
Data & Technical Skills
  • Strong experience with:
    • Schema mapping, data modeling, and event normalization
    • Identity alignment and cross-dataset stitching
    • Calculated metrics, components, and CJA data view configuration
    • AEP Query Service and Data Distiller for dataset preparation
Analytics & Insights
  • Ability to analyze and interpret cross-channel journey behavior and translate technical findings into business-ready insights.
  • Experience defining KPI frameworks and enabling measurement strategies for enterprise programs.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
  • High attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in analytics and data integrity.
  • Experience working in large-scale, multi-solution Adobe programs is a plus.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
