  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to deeply understand user needs and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content that enhances the overall user experience.
  • User Experience Advocacy: Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of content design within the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and clarity in all user interactions.
  • Content Optimization & Quality: Conduct content audits and usability tests to identify areas for improvement, then iterate on existing content to optimize its effectiveness.
  • Localization Contribution: Actively contribute to localization efforts and improvements, ensuring content is adapted effectively for different languages and cultures while maintaining its intended meaning and impact.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX and content design, sharing insights and knowledge with the team.
What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?
  • Extensive Experience: 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of UX writing or content design experience in a large-scale environment or for enterprise products.
  • Domain Knowledge: Proven experience as a Content Designer/UX Writer in cybersecurity or another equally complex industry.
  • Portfolio Excellence: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX writing skills, with samples of user interface copy, instructional content, and other relevant materials.
  • User-Centric Craft: Expertise in creating clear, concise, and user-centric content for digital products and platforms, taking into account industry best practices and accessibility guidelines.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Localization Acumen: Experience working with localization teams and workflows.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-standard UX writing and content management tools.
  • Organizational Prowess: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Agile Adaptability: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
