About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Creative Director to lead and elevate our creative organization across brand, visual design, and content. This senior leadership role will define creative vision, ensure brand consistency, and drive high-quality execution across all customer and partner touchpoints.
The Senior Creative Director oversees how our brands look, feel, and communicate, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on guidance to deliver creative work that supports ecommerce growth, marketing performance, and long-term brand equity. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to ensure creative strategy is aligned with business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreative & Brand Leadership- Own and evolve the creative vision and brand architecture across all Health-E Commerce brands and channels
- Lead brand architecture, visual identity, and storytelling across ecommerce, marketing, and partner-facing experiences
- Serve as the single point of accountability for creative quality, brand consistency, and content excellence
- Lead creative strategy for new brand launches, including brand identity, messaging, visual systems, and campaign rollout across all channels
- Ensure partner-facing creative aligns with core brand standards while allowing for customization that meets individual TPA goals and audiences
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Brand, Visual Design, and Content organization, including people leadership, performance management, and career growth
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Visual Design Leads, ensuring scalable visual systems, templates, and execution across ecommerce and campaigns
- Foster a collaborative, high-accountability creative culture that balances speed, quality, and innovation
- Oversee the Content team, ensuring messaging, tone, and narrative align with brand strategy and customer needs
- Ensure content is created with clear goals, defined success metrics, and alignment to broader marketing initiatives
- Stay current on ecommerce, branding, and creative best practices
- Ensure visual design standards are consistently applied across campaigns, lifecycle marketing, site merchandising, partnerships, and sales enablement
- Guide the development of modular creative systems that allow teams to scale output efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Partner with Marketing and CRO teams to support testing, optimization, and performance-driven creative execution
- Lead creative direction for photography and editorial shoots, including campaign, lifestyle, product, and brand storytelling assets
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to concept, plan, and execute shoots Ensure photography aligns with brand standards, accessibility considerations, and performance needs across ecommerce, CRM, paid media, and partner channels
- Build scalable photography guidelines and asset libraries
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Business leaders to align creative output with revenue, growth, and partnership objectives
- Communicate creative strategy, priorities, and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Product, Digital Health, and Executive Leadership teams on the creative launch and evolution of new digital health offerings
- Partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to support Marketing-as-a-Service initiatives, including custom campaigns helping position Health-E Commerce as a strategic growth partner to TPAs
- Oversee creative development for custom TPA campaigns, including co-branded assets, messaging, and campaign concepts
- Balance bespoke partner needs with operational efficiency by building repeatable systems, templates, and playbooks
- Support revenue growth by elevating the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of partner marketing initiatives
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in brand, visual design, or creative leadership roles, preferably within ecommerce or consumer brands
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary creative teams
- Strong understanding of ecommerce marketing, campaign execution, and performance-driven creative
- Advanced proficiency in tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- A strong portfolio demonstrating brand leadership, campaign work, and scalable visual systems
- Experience with CRO, lifecycle, and paid media teams
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Experience in high-growth environments, brand launches, and production shoots
- Experience leading creative for brand launches, photography production, and large-scale editorial or campaign shoots
- Experience supporting healthcare, wellness, or digital health brands a plus
At Health-E Commerce, our goal is to provide an offer that supports growth potential within the role and allows for future salary progression. Final compensation is evaluated on various factors which include but aren’t limited to experience, skills, internal equity among peers, and geographic location.
- Compensation: $160,000 - $190,000
- Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 20%
