  • Own the execution of automated and one-time email campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, testing, and deployment.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence how we engage customers while partnering with teams across the organization to deliver measurable results.

What You’ll Bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in email marketing or customer lifecycle marketing, preferably in a B2C environment.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, segmentation, personalization, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience building and executing email campaigns.
  • Experience with A/B testing and using campaign performance data to inform decisions.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
What Will Help You Thrive
  • A high degree of initiative, ownership, and personal responsibility.
  • Curiosity and a natural desire to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how to make it better.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with partners across the organization.
  • Comfort balancing multiple priorities and working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • A problem-solving mindset and willingness to test, learn, and iterate.
  • The ability to move comfortably between strategic planning, detailed execution, and performance analysis.
  • A customer-focused approach and interest in creating more relevant, effective experiences throughout the customer lifecycle.
What Success Looks Like
  • Email campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule, with strong execution across targeting, personalization, testing, and deployment.
  • Campaign performance contributes to business growth and customer engagement goals.
  • Testing and analysis lead to measurable improvements in key email performance indicators.
  • Email content, templates, segmentation, and workflows are continuously optimized based on customer and performance insights.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
