What you’ll be doing

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to help shape our next-generation Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA). In this role, you’ll construct dynamic JavaScript components and integrate them with advanced NLP and ML technologies to deliver agentic, frictionless self-service capabilities. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, enabling smarter, faster, and more personalized experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
· JavaScript Development: Develop innovative, scalable components with JavaScript in a specialized scripting framework.
- Feature Implementation: Develop solutions to increase automation and create consumer self-service capabilities across Experian’s contact center channels.
· GenAI Coding: Leverage Generative AI coding assistants to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity throughout the software lifecycle.
- Performance Optimization: Regularly assess, monitor and optimize the performance of applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
- Continuous Integration: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the software.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed features, configurations, and systems.
- US Partnership: Operate partially within US Central time zone as needed to ensure appropriate alignment and coordination with the US-based team.
- Hybrid Work: Must be able to work in-office (Hyderabad) 1-2 days per week, with remote work for the remainder
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Core Technical Skills & Experience: 2+ years of JavaScript experience required; must be expert level in this area.
- AWS: Solid understanding of AWS technologies such as DynamoDB and Lambda.
- GenAI: Must have strong and demonstrated knowledge of how to leverage GenAI in accelerating coding and testing (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, MS Copilot, or similar tool).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to challenges.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and new technologies.
- Attention to Detail: High standard for quality and precision in all aspects of work.
- On-Call: Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
- Additional Skills:
- Previous experience in IVR and/or NLP development is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of security best practices and tools for secure software development.
