ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is analytically rigorous, strategically minded, and a collaborative problem-solver to join our Advertising & Rewards division. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders by using data-driven insights to inform the design and optimization of Xsolla’s B2C apps/websites. Additionally, they’ll lead the design and execution of multivariate AB tests, analytics schema and dashboards/reports, generating recommendations that influence our roadmap and drive product and business performance. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to drive data-informed product decisions that shape how we reward and engage players at scale.
Strong analytical and statistical skills are essential, along with experience in quantitative analysis within games or other consumer-facing apps. The ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities
- Own data analysis for Xsolla's new B2C apps and websites, generating insights that optimize how we reward and engage users.
- Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and prescriptive analysis — including product funnel mapping, user cohort analysis, and behavioral data modeling — to improve user experience and drive growth and engagement.
- Define KPIs for the product and build automated dashboards, reports, and models that enable smarter, faster decision-making across the business.
- Design, orchestrate, and analyze multivariate product experiments to drive growth, improve existing features, and test new areas of opportunity.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques — including machine learning — to uncover player insights, forecast economic trends, and support monetization strategies, while ensuring outputs remain interpretable and actionable for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to build business cases and forecasts for new feature development.
Qualifications & Skills - Required
- BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field.5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within games or other consumer-facing apps.
- Fluency in SQL with demonstrated ability to work with highly dimensional and complex datasets.
- Strong proficiency with Statsig or comparable A/B testing platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or other BI/data visualization tools.
- Strong proficiency with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or other product analytics platforms.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, startup-like environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine learning or predictive modeling in a product context.
- Background in advertising, offerwall, or performance marketing analytics.
- Familiarity with user acquisition and monetization metrics in mobile or free-to-play games.
