Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence (BI) team within Global Quality, part of Dyson’s world-leading Research, Design and Development function. The BI team measures how Dyson products perform in market, identifies the drivers of reliability and owner satisfaction, and turns data from multiple sources and business domains into actionable insight. Our work helps teams make better decisions and continuously improve the product for Dyson owners.

We are looking for an authentic, energetic and pioneering data professional who thinks differently about business problems and can translate complex requirements into clear actions and valuable outputs. As a senior member of the team, you will work with colleagues at all levels across Dyson, interpret their questions and build trusted datasets and reporting solutions that inform, challenge and inspire.

From understanding what owners value most—and where their experience falls short—to identifying emerging field issues and tracking new product launches, we use data to tell compelling stories. You will help us unlock the full potential of our data, identify new opportunities and strengthen how we monitor and improve every aspect of product quality.

Dyson’s ambition is to create products that are reliable and satisfying to use. This role is central to that ambition, giving internal customers clear, trusted access to the data they need to understand product performance and act with confidence. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining reporting from the Mendix suite of applications, including Quality Issue Management, Sample Collection and Returns.
• Tracking new product launches by highlighting reported product symptoms, product satisfaction and return rates.
• Partnering with Market Quality teams to provide timely ad hoc insight and continuously refine dashboards.
• Supporting Customer Service teams through effective maintenance and improvement of existing dashboards.
• Translating insight and reporting needs into clear requirements for Data Solutions teams, influencing data design changes where needed.

You will be the primary point of contact in Singapore for Product Quality dashboard development requests. You will work as part of a connected global team, supported by highly skilled colleagues in Singapore with deep knowledge of the data, as well as BI teams in the UK and the Philippines who will support your onboarding and continued development.

You will combine excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with sound business judgement and strong technical data capabilities. You will be able to:

Our modern data stack continues to evolve as we pursue best-in-class capability, scalability and efficiency. You do not need experience with every technology we use, but you should be curious, adaptable and motivated to learn how the tools work both individually and together. Relevant technical experience includes:

• Data visualisation experience using Tableau (preferred), Looker, Qlik or Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and experience modelling data in Google Cloud Platform or a comparable cloud environment.
