What We Need

As Synapse continues to scale and enhance its market-leading technology platform, the Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in developing reports and delivering data-driven insights to support a variety of analytics use cases across our Equip line of business. Equip is a fast-growing line of business focused on radically improving the durable medical equipment (DME) experience in post-acute care settings such as hospice and long-term care. Through technology-driven solutions and strategic partnerships, Equip is modernizing care delivery, streamlining operations, and expanding access to high-quality services.

This position will contribute to the growth of the Equip business by turning complex data into actionable solutions, supporting key operational and strategic decisions, and driving efficiency across referral workflows, fulfillment, and vendor performance.

What You Will Do

  • Transform data into actionable insights that drive decisions across the Equip business
  • Meet with stakeholders—from business, operations, and product—to understand metric/KPI/reporting requirements and convert them into analytical solutions
  • Understand healthcare and DME-specific data to derive industry-standard reports that support care delivery and operational visibility
  • Model new datasets that can be consumed across teams to streamline workflows and reporting
  • Build shared knowledge and champion methods of self-serve analytics across Equip and other domains
  • Rapidly prototype dashboards and exploratory analyses to help stakeholders evaluate operational scenarios and business opportunities
  • Become an SME of Equip-related data domains (e.g., referrals, fulfillment timelines, vendor SLAs)
  • Share responsibility in maturing the analytics platform and underlying processes in partnership with Data Engineering

What You Have

At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture of kindness, collaboration, and creativity, and we consider those qualities to be table stakes for any new team member. In addition, this role requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, plus at least 5 years of experience in Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting or similar roles — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with at least one data visualization tool—Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Omni or similar. Sigma preferred
  • Familiarity with SQL and how to consume data from modern data stacks: Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey the analytical story behind every dashboard
  • Ability to support day-to-day data platform operations and iterate quickly
  • Proven ability to learn new tools and technologies as the platform evolves
  • Healthcare or DME industry experience is preferred

What Sets You Apart

  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrates seeing the big picture, planning ahead, and putting thought into action
  • Adaptability: Adapts quickly to change and easily considers new approaches
  • Decision Making: Manages to make the right decision in complex situations
  • Leadership: Demonstrates the ability to influence and guide members of an organization

What Sets Us Apart

It’s no secret that most of us work to provide for ourselves and those we love, but just because we have to work, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it. In fact, at Synapse Health, we insist on it! We want our team members to thrive personally and professionally, which is why our benefits include:

  • Professional growth opportunities with compelling career paths
  • Healthy work-life balance culture with paid time off (PTO)
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time team members
  • 401K savings plan with an employer contribution match
