Title: Senior Data EngineerAbout this Job

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll architect and maintain robust data systems that power our organization's decision-making. 

You'll design scalable pipelines, implement data quality frameworks, and create the technical foundation our teams rely on to analyze complex energy market trends and business metrics.

 Your work ensures our data infrastructure can handle growing demands while delivering consistent, accurate insights to customers and stakeholders across the organization.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to efficiently process data from multiple sources for internal and customer-facing applications
  • Implement comprehensive data quality controls, governance standards, and privacy frameworks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all business processes while maintaining multi-environment architecture and DevOps best practices
  • Build and maintain robust MLOps infrastructure that supports model development, deployment, and monitoring while enabling seamless data science collaboration
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into technical data solutions while mentoring team members on data engineering best practices
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, query efficiency, and cloud resource utilization to maintain cost-effective, high-performing systems

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of data engineering experience working in fast-paced environments with a track record of high-impact individual contributions
  • Advanced knowledge of data architecture principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, governance standards, quality controls, and privacy frameworks
  • Extensive experience with cloud services, including multi-environment architecture, containerization, IaaS, and observability systems
  • Proven expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases, Python, and modern data stack technologies, with proficiency in PostgreSQL, Airflow, Airbyte, dbt, and Spark preferred
