Position Responsibilities:
- Generate demand forecasts, optimize inventory plans and track functional performance metrics.
- Determines, defines, and deploys predictive/prescriptive analytic solutions to meet business requirements in forecast accuracy
- Utilize forecasting tool to generate reports and collaborate with asset managers on Retrofit Fleet support kitting team to predict and project planned orders.
- Develop modeling solutions that are structured to support contract performance targets.
- Provide recommendations & strategies based on statistical analysis to minimize shortages/excess inventory
- Lead to improve forecast accuracy, part delivery performance, and optimize inventory.
- Perform data analysis, run simulations, algorithms, and analytics to support KPIs
- Interpret customer requirements and develop modeling approaches to solve complex supply chain problems.
- Determine appropriate forecast methodologies to develop cost effective fleet sustainment solutions.
- Utilize simulation to test and prove concepts, optimization and planning expertise to establish strategies for kitting statement of work
- Collaborate with various Demand Planning teams, Supply Chain teams, to build comprehensive analysis to support decision making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present to supply chain leadership, program managers, customers, internal/external auditors and peers.
- Strong team player and passion to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through analytics
- Own projects from idea generation, establish strategy and help implementation of the process.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- +5 years' experience in forecasting, planning, analytics and supply chain processes
- +5 years' experience in aerospace, defense, logistics, or large-scale manufacturing environments
- Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience
- Advanced RStudio knowledge
- Advanced SQL knowledge
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Programming experience in Python
- Data Analytics and Statistics modelling experience
- Experience in Tableau, Dataiku, Gitlab
- Experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience in SAP and/or Servigistics
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure
- Experience in Operations Research from an airline, OEM, logistics company, etc.
