We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a project in the fintech industry.

You will be embedded within an AI-driven product team, working as a bridge between the engineering team and CloudOps. Your main objective will be to take ownership of AWS infrastructure work, offloading DevOps responsibilities from the engineering team so they can focus on business logic and product development. This is a hands-on role supporting infrastructure improvements, refactoring, and performance-tuning activities.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to working autonomously, and with good attention to detail. This role requires a senior profile who can add value quickly with minimal ramp-up or supervision — it is not suitable for a junior candidate.
Take ownership of AWS infrastructure work for the product engineering team
Act as a bridge between the engineering team and CloudOps, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment
Support infrastructure improvements, refactoring, and performance-tuning initiatives
Offload infrastructure/DevOps tasks from the engineering team, enabling them to focus on business logic and product development
Work autonomously to identify and resolve infrastructure challenges with minimal supervision
Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure
7+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong track record in senior-level roles
Strong AWS expertise, with proven ability to take ownership of cloud infrastructure work
Experience acting as a liaison between engineering and CloudOps/infrastructure teams
A high level of autonomy — able to add value quickly with minimal onboarding or supervision
Solid experience with infrastructure refactoring and performance tuning
Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
Experience working within embedded or cross-functional product teams
Familiarity with AI-driven platforms or SaaS environments
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling
