What You’ll Do (Right Away)

• Own and improve the stability and speed of our CI pipeline like a hawk.

• Set and uphold high standards around test reliability, coverage, and suite performance.

• Drive practical improvements by:

  • Fixing flaky tests and stabilizing pipelines.

  • Leveraging and enhancing existing tools and infrastructure.

  • Helping the team stay accountable to infra-related tasks across sprints and the roadmap.

What You’ll Do (Longer Term)

• Own and evolve our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (Semaphore, GitHub Actions, Heroku).

• Introduce best practices around testing, monitoring, and automation to help engineers ship with confidence.

• Build internal tooling and infrastructure to help engineers move faster with fewer distractions.

• Partner closely with full-stack engineers to improve deployment ergonomics, reliability, and performance.

• Enhance observability using tools like Checkly and Percy, and help guide us toward a stronger SRE posture over time.

• Lay the foundation for scalable, reliable infrastructure as our team, product, and customer base grow.

• Set and uphold high standards around deployment time, steps, and reliability.

What You’ll Bring

• Years of experience as a software, DevOps, or infrastructure engineer, with deep expertise in CI/CD, automation, and deployment systems.

• Experience with tools like Heroku, GitHub Actions, Semaphore, Checkly, or equivalents.

• A systems mindset—comfortable designing processes that scale and improve developer productivity.

• Strong coding chops—able to write scripts, manage infrastructure-as-code, and dive into application code when needed.

• Clear communication, especially when translating infrastructure work into actionable next steps for engineers.

• Startup-style ownership and hustle—you’re proactive, adaptable, and excited to build from the ground up.
