MCD Partners, part of M&C Saatchi Worldwide, is seeking a Senior Digital Designer + Motion & Video Creator with solid AI skills to join our creative team.

This is a role for someone who can move seamlessly between design, motion, editing, production, and emerging AI workflows. One day you might be building a paid social campaign for a global consumer brand. The next, creating AI-assisted video content, designing display ads, editing OLV assets, or developing concepts for a new campaign.

We're looking for a maker. Someone who loves creating, experimenting, and figuring out smarter ways to produce great work. Someone who understands that the future of creative production is a blend of craft, technology, and ideas.

You'll work alongside copywriters, art directors, strategists, and account teams to create work that performs across today's digital channels—including paid social, display, online video, streaming, and broadcast.

What You'll Do

● Create digital-first campaigns for a variety of consumer brands

● Design assets across paid social, display, OLV, CRM, web, and emerging digital channels

● Edit video content for social, digital advertising, and broadcast

● Create motion graphics, animations, visual effects, and lightweight post-production work

● Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, design exploration, image creation, video generation, and content production

● Collaborate with creative teams from concept through final execution

● Develop visual systems and campaign assets that scale across multiple formats and platforms

● Stay on top of emerging creative technologies, AI tools, and production techniques

What We're Looking For

● Experience in a design, motion, content creation, or digital production role within an agency, studio, or in-house creative team

● Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, and brand systems

● Solid command of video editing skills and understanding of storytelling, pacing, and platform best practices

● Experience creating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects

● Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to contribute ideas—not just execute them

● Comfortable working across multiple brands, industries, and project sizes

● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment

● A portfolio that demonstrates a range of design, motion, content, and campaign work

Required Skills

● Adobe Photoshop

● Adobe Premiere Pro

● Adobe After Effects

● AI prompt writing to create images and videos

● Figma

Bonus Points

● Experience with AI video tools including Runway, Veo, Kling, Pika, or similar platforms

● Experience with AI image-generation workflows

● Motion design, compositing, and/or VFX expertise

● Understanding of paid media creative best practices and performance-driven content

● Curiosity, experimentation, and a genuine excitement for where creative technology is headed

About the Work

Our client roster includes globally recognized consumer brands, emerging challengers, and businesses across categories including financial services, food & beverage, automotive, retail, and more.

Some projects are large-scale integrated campaigns. Others are quick-turn opportunities that require smart thinking and efficient execution. The common thread is a team that values strong ideas, strong craft, and people who are excited to create.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.

This is a full-time remote position. But we do get together sometimes in NYC, Miami, and Chicago.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so early application is encouraged. Salary for this role is $50/hour.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
